Reflection paper 5
Today we revisited on inductive teaching that is we discussed in pairs about what we understood in our previous class and sir asked our understanding about inductive teaching where some of our friends answered. From their understanding i also got extra information about how learners are taken from known to unknown that is for example telling students the examples of noun and relating to that asking the definition and making a proper defination of noun. After discussing that in the group we were asked to plan a lesson to be taught inductively so, we planed in our group an also went through other group's plan. From there i learnt how should we plan to teach inductively that is like the above example if we are to teach on the topic noun we should first give some examples and let students observe and describe the examples then for better understanding give more examples and non examples and again let students compare the example and non example and find the similarities and differences. After that prompt students to identify patterns in the examples. From there ask their definition of noun and then adding more information and making a definite definition of noun.
